Growing Readers is a program designed to help communities create a sustainable path to lifelong learning for every child. Our community-based model centers around the goal of propagating the norm of a daily routine of shared book reading in households with young children.

The Book Desert Map makes the problem of book scarcity visible and helps communities initiate conversations across the public, private, and civic sectors about the geography of books and reading, as well as the structural inequalities that pose barriers to Growing Readers.
